This linked product allows you to take a screen shot on IMVU and auto saves it right onto your desktop. NO downloads required just simply say the triggers words in a IMVU chat room, Then wait for the picture to appear on your desktop. Can either be used with background left on or removed so it's just the avatars you see. Triggers are: *hiresnobg (For NO background) & *hiressnap (With the background) However, the trigger words *hiresnobg and *hiressnap will work anywhere on IMVU and your pictures will be automatically saved to your desktop. It is the easiest way to take a high resolution picture. If you use the no background trigger word you will need to add a background. With both of these trigger words you will need to resize the picture.

Link: Click here Register an account with this site so that you can load your personal photos. From here you will have the ability to share your photographs, by using either the direct link URL, or by copy and pasting the IMG link into any of our group threads for posting purposes.
You can also edit pictures using Photobucket. However, if you do not have Photoshop or Gimp DO NOT use Photobucket to resize pictures without a background. Simply because when you resize a *hiresnobg pic, Photobucket WILL add a background to it.

For editing beginners who do not know how to use Gimp or Photoshop, you can use Picmonkey. You don't need to create an account with them & you will find interesting effects to play with & edit your pics. It is a great site to start with, you can crop your hiresnobg pics & then resize it! It's very simple & easy as 1-2-3!
I would also recommend you try Pizap and ipiccy.
